About Sierra Tse

Sierra Tse is the winner of Hong Kong Contemporary Choral Composition Competition. She received commissions from different organization and soloists; one of her commission work “Ballade of the Lotus Pond” was described as

“Beautiful Melody, the description of Lotus lady who looking for love, 
in particular brilliant.”

Her compositions were selected to perform in international music festival and symposium.  She also arranged and orchestrated for movie, such as Colombia Movie “Kung Fu Hustle”, documentaries, theatre and media productions. 

She also arranges orchestral/chamber music for Hong Kong Special Event, such as HKSAR government 17thAnniversary Celebration; International Horticultural Exposition 2011 Xi’an, China. Also, she worked as volunteer music arranger with MedArt musical outreach program for inmates.  

In addition, she works as music score preparator/editor for movie, concerts, musical and score over 10 years, providing professional service in the music industry.

She graduated from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, major in Piano, Composition and later, Music Recording Engineering; and obtained Master of Arts in Chinese with distinction from Lingnan University.  She attended the International Music Institute Darmstadt, Germany; Edgar Staton Recording Institute in USA, and New York Film Music Institute.

Apart from composition, she also is the winner of short novel open class, Hong Kong Youth literature Award.
